Eligible Criteria: Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University / Higher Educational Institution are eligible for admission to the Program. A candidate must have secured a minimum CGPA of 2.0 in 4 point Grade scale or 50% or equivalent at the Bachelor’s degree level.

MSc in Electrical Power Engineering is a graduate degree program of Purbanchal University designed for improving the professional competence of electrical engineers in Nepal.
The Master of Science in Electrical Power Engineering program focuses on fulfilling the manpower demand from large electrical engineering projects and electrical utilities across the country providing capabilities to each student in electrical power engineering domain. The graduates of the program will be able:
i. to carry out higher studies as an independent researcher in the relevant field;
ii. to practice professionally as an electrical power engineering expert.
