Bachelor in Development Finance (BDF)
Eligible Criteria: Students from all streams such as humanities, management, science or vocations are eligible to apply. Requirements for admission to the programs include minimum 45% in the aggregate in 10+2 (Higher Secondary Education Board) or equivalent in any stream or at least grade D in three subjects in Advance Level. Students will have to pass an entrance test compromising of written and oral parts. The written test will be in Mathematics, English and General Knowledge. KUSAAT (Kathmandu University School of Arts’ Admission Test) KUSAAT is a 90 minute written entrance exam conducted by KUSOA (Kathmandu University School of Arts) followed by Interview. KUSAAT is necessary for students trying to apply for programs offered by Kathmandu University School of Arts, National College, Dhumbarahi. KUSAAT consists of 4 sections: General Knowledge Math (IQ) English Nepali Students will be selected from the merit list prepared on the basis of the scores in 10+2 or Advance level, the written examination and interview.
About Program:
Bachelor in Development Finance (BDFin) is a highly demand driven internationally recognized professional program affiliated to Kathmandu University. Started in 2006, this highly structured and dynamic program is tailor made to take on the challenges of finance-related aspects important to development. Specifically, ‘Development finance’ aims to create programs and solutions to challenges that the local businesses, industries, banking and financial institutions, and local and global environment face. In this Context, National College has developed this program of 4 years (8 semesters) course of 130 credits. The subjects on institutional structures, policies and strategies give testimony to the fact that we as an educational institution also, commit towards contributing to sustainable development.
