University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) ✈️
BA (Hons) Business and Management (BBM)
Eligible Criteria: To be eligible for a BA (Hons) in Business and Management, students typically need to meet specific academic requirements, which vary by university. Generally, this includes having completed secondary school with good grades in relevant subjects like mathematics and English, as well as demonstrating proficiency in English language skills. Some universities also require a minimum number of UCAS tariff points from equivalent Level 3 qualifications like A-Levels or BTECs.
BA (Hons) Business and Management is a high-quality, broad-based qualification that provides the fundamental knowledge and skills required for the contemporary business environment. In this ambiguous global economy, the program enables students to not only consider business holistically but also undertake complex problem solving. It helps them comprehend the interconnectedness of decision-making and effectively communicate those decisions to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. In the first and second years, a core set of modules is followed to ensure a solid foundation is laid down. In the third and fourth years, students can choose to study for a generic degree in business and management or focus on one particular aspect, such as human resource management, finance, marketing, enterprise, or tourism. This allows students to graduate at the end of the fourth year with a themed award, for example, Business Management with Human Resource Management.
