GCE A Level Non-Science (A LEVEL)

Eligible Criteria: To study A Level a student must have completed SEE or an equivalent examination.

GCE A Level of the University of Cambridge has internationally benchmarked qualifications providing excellent preparation for university education.

It is usually studied over two years at an Advanced Subsidiary (AS or A1) level and an advanced (A or A2) level. The course is taught in 160 countries with 70 subjects divided into science and non-science.

It is a part of the Cambridge Advanced stage. A level qualification is widely recognized and valued by universities as well as employers.

Every year, thousands of students with A-level qualifications gain scholarships at good universities worldwide, including universities in the UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. There are two qualifications for A levels. An A-level qualification is equivalent to one credit, while an AS-level qualification is equivalent to just half.

The syllabus and examination are set by the University of Cambridge and the papers are corrected in UK by approved markers. Results are published 6 to 7 weeks after the examination in the form of statement of result, and certificates are normally made available above six weeks after the issue of result.
